As of June 30th, BLACKPINK is now the second KPOP group to reign on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart in the US.
The group’s success is primarily centered around the release of their EP, SQUARE UP. The EP launched at No.40 on Billboard 200 and is the highest charting for an all-female KPOP group.
BLACKPINK’s EP is headlined by DDU-DU DDU-DU which charted at No.55 on the Billboard 100, another great achievement for the all-female group.
The group made a huge comeback with the track as they felt it provided the vibe they needed to make their comeback a success. The track was a hit which catapulted the rest of the album.
